Richard Trevillion is a veteran
business leader who is now at the helm of flake graphite exploration company –
Lamboo Resources.
He attained a Bachelor of Science
Honours degree from Manchester Business School, followed by an MBA. It is
therefore no surprise that Richard Trevillion has a strong background in
Business.
Richard Trevillion launched his
career in London in 1990, when he worked as a solicitor for Simmons & Simmons.
He moved into investment banking at Arthur Anderson and Close Brothers,
launching a strong career.
Richard Trevillion is also the
managing director for Arena Capital Partners, and the chairman and managing
director for Lamboo Resources.
Richard Trevillion draws on his
extensive experience and entrepreneurial skills to build quality companies.
Prior to his current roles,
Richard Trevillion served as Director NED for Rockwell Minerals until July
2013, when Elementos Limited acquired the company.
In his current role at Lamboo
Resources, Richard Trevelyan is the Chief
Executive Officer at Lamboo resources.
“Earlier this year Lamboo
Resources signed a memorandum of understanding with China sciences Hengda
Graphite Corporation Limited,” Richard Trevillion says.
“The MoU with Hegda will enable
commercial production trials to be undertaken on the McIntosh flake graphite
with the view of formalising an off-take agreement for the site.
“Lamboo will be able to
utilise Hegda’s extensive experience in
the mining and production of quality flake graphite to help advance the
development of the MCIntosh project.”
According to Richard Trevillion,
Lamboo aims to be a supplier of graphite concentrate to Hengda, with Hengda
representing the final processing option for Lamboo flake graphite.
“Hengda is the only miner and
supplier of flake graphite in Central China, and represents one of the few
flake graphite suppliers in the country,” Richard Trevillion says.
“Hengda is a fully vertically
integrated with a 300,000 tonnes per annum mine at Yimjiaping producing 30,000
tonnes of graphite that is manufactured in Yichangon the Yangzte River, 100
kilometres away, into an impressive array of industrial products that can only
utilise high quality flake graphite. Hengda also produces lithium battery grade
graphite and has plans to introduce a grapheme production facility this year.”
